This machine lasted 3 weeks before the pump burned out because I ran it without enough water. The water level window might as well not be there because you can’t see the water level at all since it’s surrounded by grey. There’s no back up to the pump, so I’ve lost all my money. There is one line in the instruction book which says to check the water before running it, but it doesn’t say the machine will self-destruct if you don’t.

I’m not sure who actually manufactures this machine but it was originally sold in Target stores under the Mr. Coffee brand name for about 50 dollars. At some point they decided to cover the black plastic with a stainless steel skin, change the brand name and quadruple the price. I checked out the Breville version and can say without a doubt that it is the same machine. I owned the Target version and only used it occasionally. I had it for less than a year when the gasket blew out spewing hot water everywhere including on me.

I enjoy coffee made with Breville’s coffee maker every day and it is delicious. Whether it’s normal espresso, cappuccino, mocha, latte, or whatever else there is, the drink is prepared hassle free and in a matter of seconds. Definitely a must-buy.

We got a lot of use out of this espresso machine but now after a couple years it leaks water (out the bottom where the power chord is) and finally stopped working alltogether. It did not heat the water as quickly or as hot as some other machines we’ve used.

I got this for a gift and love it. I’ve only had it for 3 months, but so far so good! It’s my first espresso machine and is a nice compromise of quality and price. Great machine to learn on!
