I really hoped that this blade and ring would help me solve the leak problem w/my extremely old blender. I really only needed the ring to stop the leaking, but figured that since my blender is so old, that it would be a great idea to go ahead and get the blade that came with the ring. They were too small for my blender. I don’t know how old my blender is. With all of the reviews of people having good luck with their 20-25 yr old blenders, I thought it’d be worth a shot. I guess my blender is even older than theirs (like from the 60s, lol) I wish I could give a higher rating, but I don’t know how well it works, the 2 stars is for quick delivery.

Love my oster beehive…..am I nuts, or does it come with the ice crusher blade? My blade looks exactly like the one pictured.
As for the Mason jars……I have two oster containers….neither one of them when taken apart will accept the mason jar.
As for the rubber coupling you can send away for to fix your broken oster…..it is not an easy thing to do…..I gave up after 3 hours and taking it up to Home Depot.
Got a new beehive from amazon.

GOOD BLADE, RESURRECTED AN OLD BLENDER! But, box was crumpled and in another language. Not manufactured by an American company! It did make me a nice frozen drink the first time around.

I bought this to replace a normal blade that had worn out. I use the ice crusher blade primarily for smoothies and it works well. I generally don’t use ice so it’s only had to work on frozen fruit. I’m interested to see how well it does with normal blending.

It’s been 4 weeks and no problems at all. This (appears) to be a highly quality, OEM product just as described. Does a great job standard blending and ice crushing (as it should). Highly recommended to others. Note: when cleaning blender, be careful because the blades do point upward more than the non-ice crusher original. You’ll know what I mean after you point yourself in the finger, but only takes once to learn.
